Heavy Moves
Set aside years ago for a patio renovation, a marble tabletop was begging to be put back in its place after the renovation had finished. The tabletop sat off its base for years until the owner decided it was finally time to place it back on the patio. The people to call for this job was Berea Moving & Storage Co.; with specialty cross-training from our sister company, WOOD-LEE International Art Handler, our crew is capable of moving incredibly large, heavy, and fragile pieces with precision and delicacy.
Our crew at WOOD-LEE recently moved another heavy and fragile artwork just before working on the marble tabletop, a public sculpture by Erik Neff. An abstract, tree-like form, made of steel beams and blocks of cement mosaic was installed near The Nature Center at Shaker Lakes for display. Whether it’s furniture or art, if it’s too heavy for you, just remember it’s not too heavy for us. We are well equipped to handle anything thrown our way, after all “We Move the Weird”.
